Description

Spiced pumpkin hummus can be ready in matter of minutes if you have all the ingredients ready. Made with chickpeas, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice and sweetened with a little bit of maple syrup. It goes wonderfully with Pita bread, fresh fruits, vegetable chips, crusty bread. 

What you'll need
  • 14 oz can chickpeas, drained (1 can)
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice mix
  • Pumpkin spice mix
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
What you'll need to do...
  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blitz together until smooth.

  2. Taste the hummus and add more maple syrup to reach the desired level of sweetness.

  3. Place in an airtight container with a tight fitting lid and store refrigerated for up to one week.
