I always make this recipe for my Christmas and New Year get togethers, as we all know we love to devour cheese goodness during the holidays. And if you are into the trend of setting up cheese board then this would level up your game surely.

You can top Baked Brie with just about anything and it will be delicious for sure. Personally I love this combination of cranberries, and walnuts with earthy rosemary for the pop of color and a punch of sweet-tart flavor.
I have used a round wheel of Brie in this particular recipe but you can make it with a wedge too. Depending on how many people youโre serving, you can easily change this recipe to accommodate a larger or smaller piece of Brie.

How to make Baked Brie with Cranberries and
Walnuts
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Serves: 4
What youโll need:
- 8 oz. brie cheese wheel
- 1/4c. cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2T. dried cranberries (craisins)
- 1/2c. walnuts, roughly chopped (roasted)
- 1T. honey, preferably local
- 2 rosemary sprigs
To serve: 1 French baguette, warmed and sliced on the diagonal fresh vegetables for dipping such as baby carrots, celery, cucumber rounds.
What youโll need to doโฆ

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
- Place the brie on the prepared baking sheet and transfer it to the oven to bakeย for 10 minutes.
- Remove brie from the oven, and using two forks, gently expose the creamy layer beneath the crusty top of the cheese. Spread the cranberry sauce on top of the cheese, followed by the dried cranberries and walnuts. Drizzle with honey and top with fresh rosemary.
- Return brie in the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until all the toppings are warm and the brie is heated to your desired temperature.ย
- Serve the baked brie on a decorative platter alongside sliced baguette and vegetable dippers. Enjoy!

As far as Baked Brie goes, this is about as easy as it goes. Since weโre not placing the Brie in a bread or puff pastry, all you have to do is set it in the serving dish and pop it in the oven. Also, since weโre not adding the carbs and calories of said puff and pastry we can eat more cheese.
Tips:
- Honey: a thick, rich, flavorful honey really takes this over the top. Look for one with a dark color.
- Walnuts: Donโt forget to toast them; it makes them way more flavorful!
- Dried cranberries: If your craisins are really dry, you can add them to a bowl of really hat water and they will pump up! Just make sure you drain and pat them dry.
- Brie: You donโt need to splurge on the most expensive piece of Brie. A moderately priced will work just fine here.
- Salt: A finishing sprinkle of sea salt really enhances the flavors and balances the sweetness of the honey perfectly.
Can you save extras if you donโt eat it all?
Rarely it may happenโฆ but yes you can store the leftover for 3-5 days.
Just make sure your brie is cooled completely. Either cover the baking dish with foil or plastic wrap (this is my preferred choice because I can easily pop it in the oven when I want to eat it again) or transfer it to an air tight container and store it in the fridge for 3-5 days (then when ready to eat, transfer it bake to a baking dish). When ready to eat, heat it in a 400 degree oven for 5-10 minutes, or until gooey again. Easy as that!
